Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

AgenticEmail gives software and AI agents real email addresses. Email only works when everyone on the network can trust it, so this policy is strict and we enforce it. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every inbox, domain, API key, and agent operated through the service.

You may not use the service to

  • Send unsolicited bulk email. No spam, no purchased lists, no cold-mail blasts. Recipients must have a real relationship with you or have asked to hear from you.
  • Phish, impersonate, or defraud. No pretending to be another person, brand, or service; no credential harvesting; no scams, advance-fee schemes, or deceptive sender identities.
  • Do anything illegal under the laws that apply to you or to us — including distributing CSAM, facilitating violence or trafficking, violating sanctions, or infringing others' rights at scale.
  • Distribute malware or attack infrastructure. No malicious attachments or links, no command-and-control, no using inboxes to coordinate attacks, scraping abuse, or credential stuffing.
  • Harass or threaten people, or use inboxes to evade blocks that others have placed on you.
  • Abuse the shared infrastructure. No evading rate limits, quotas, or suspensions (including by creating accounts in bulk); no reselling shared-domain addresses; no registering misleading addresses on shared domains (names reserved for service roles are blocked).
  • Undermine account verification systems of other services at scale — for example, mass-creating accounts elsewhere in ways that violate those services' terms.

Agents are your responsibility

If an AI agent operates an inbox on your account, its email is your email. Configure your agents so they respect this policy — including what they send, how often, and to whom. "The agent did it" is not a defense.

Enforcement

We monitor for abuse signals (bounce and complaint rates, volume anomalies, blocklist reports) and act proportionately: warnings, rate limiting, inbox suspension, or account termination. Serious abuse — spam runs, phishing, anything illegal — results in immediate suspension without notice, reclamation of shared-domain addresses, and reporting to authorities where the law requires or permits it.

Reporting abuse

If you receive abusive mail from an address on our infrastructure, forward it with full headers to hello@agenticemail.dev with "abuse" in the subject. We investigate every report.
